Designed to embrace its incredible Atlantic Ocean backdrop, this custom pool in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida transforms the backyard into a true extension of the home. Built in collaboration with Aria Homes, Inc., Chuck Womack Design, Design Cooperative, Ben Dinkins Landscape Design, and Main Made Studios, every detail was carefully planned to create a seamless connection between architecture, outdoor living, and the surrounding coastline.

Stretching more than 70 feet in length, the pool features a dramatic perimeter overflow knife-edge design that creates a mirror-like surface, allowing the water to visually blend into the ocean beyond. The result is a clean, modern aesthetic that places the breathtaking coastal views at center stage while delivering an exceptional backyard experience.

Designed for Coastal Living

At over 1,200 square feet, the outdoor space was designed for both entertaining and everyday relaxation. An expansive 8-inch-deep sunshelf with an integrated umbrella sleeve provides the perfect place to lounge, while the fully integrated perimeter overflow spa offers twelve hydrotherapy jets within a sleek, contemporary design.

Rather than relying on ornate features, the design embraces simplicity and precision. Long, uninterrupted sightlines, crisp architectural edges, and a restrained material palette allow the home and ocean views to remain the focal point.

Built for the Oceanfront

Building directly on the Atlantic coast requires far more than beautiful design—it demands specialized engineering.

Because of the challenging coastal conditions, this pool was constructed on 23 auger-cast structural pilings, providing long-term stability and support beneath the pool shell. The perimeter overflow system was also carefully engineered to maintain a perfectly consistent water level across more than 150 linear feet of overflow edge, ensuring the mirror-like surface remains flawless from every angle.

These structural details remain largely invisible once construction is complete, but they’re essential to creating a luxury pool that’s built to perform for decades.
