I want to express my deep appreciation for being apart of Pools by John Clarkson family. The family oriented culture here is truly special. Its not just about the work; its about the people. From the start, Ive been surrounded by collegues who care not just about our projects, but about each others well-being. The support Ive received here has been life changing. As a single parent, the flexibility ive been given has made all the difference. Its allowed me to balance my personal and professional life effectively, ensuring that I can be fully present in both areas. I also want to mention my love for the work I do in accounting. Everyday, Im excited to dive into the numbers and help drive our financial success. I believe what makes PBJC truly unique in the world we live in today is its compassion and care for others. The genuine concern for each employees families and the emphasis on creating a supportive community sets us apart. In a fast paced and often impersonal world but PBJC stands out as a beacon of compassion and understanding. I am truly grateful to be apart of such a supportive, fun, and understanding team. Before I came to the PBJC team, I had been in the golf industry for 25+ years. I did not think I would be switching careers at that time, but when the golf company I was working with sold, those of us with the home office were given an exit page... So here I am 10 years later working for the most awesome company ever. When I was going through my cancer treatments, I felt the team was going through them with me, because I felt such love and support. This company has been very supportive of everything. I could not ask for a better company to work for!

Pools by John Clarkson is so much more than a pool company, they are an integral part of our community here in North Florida and I am proud to call them my employer. PBJC has established a culture that prides itself in relationships not only with our customers, but also with our employees, subcontractors, and vendors. I am grateful to be a part of this team and cannot wait to see where the future leads us!

One of the great things about working at Pools by John Clarkson is the fact that they are a family values owned business. They emphasize family values in all that they do inclusive of the employees' families. PBJC management consistently promotes a balance between employee family time and the needs of the business. In the course of my employment, I have seen many examples of where the Clarkson family has gone above and beyond to help employees and their family members in times of not only need, but contributed to their joyous occasions as well. One thing that is especially unique about how our business is managed is that we are encouraged to extend our family values to our customers by building relationships, attending to their concerns, and delivering a quality product. I have been with Pools By John Clarkson for 9 years now. I have had a hand in the building of hundreds if not thousands of pools in one way or another. I started out as a laborer installing rebar in the pool shells. I have since learned a great deal of knowledge regarding the process of building pools and am still learning new things every day. I have grown with the company and now in the role of project manager. I really do love my job and enjoy getting to meet new people on new projects. I have become close to most of my customers and even have grown to be good friends with some of them. PBJC is a family oriented company. Through the years I have had issues with my health and have had multiple surgeries on my knee including a total replacement. During this time the company could have just told me to stay at home and come back when I'm better but they went out of their way to accommodate my limited restrictions and found work for me to do so I could continue to earn a paycheck. I feel that this speaks volumes about how they look out for their employees and truly make me feel like I'm part of a family.

Pools by John Clarkson welcomed me to their family back in 2013. I have been so blessed to join in our growth and success over the years. It is an honor and a privilege to work for a family and company that truly cares for its employees and customers. My job is made easier in the fact that I wholeheartedly trust in our leadership, our team, our process, our quality, our service and our shared vision for the future.

For a decade, I've been a part of this place, witnessing its evolution firsthand. It's incredible to reflect on the progress we've made in comparison to a decade ago! Working alongside the service department brings me immense joy, especially witnessing their remarkable growth. When I first joined, I had no knowledge about pools; I had to self-educate to reach where I am today. Sharing whatever little expertise I have with my team is gratifying; after all, knowledge truly is power. The daily hurdles we encounter are like opportunities for me to expand my knowledge base. It's fulfilling to know that our efforts contribute to keeping our customers satisfied and loyal. I firmly believe that PBJC has a promising future, and I'm excited to be a part of it.
